Lifeguards
Of all the roles undertaken by our volunteers there can be none so important as the lifeguard. Don't be decieved by their casual demeanour as they saunter around the pool leaning on their poles. Underneath that Baywatch exterior is a highly trained rescue machine, ever alert and ever ready to show off their shiny whistles.
Without them we don't swim, simple as that.
With them we provide a safer environment for all our swimmers to enjoy.
As I said the majority are volunteers, dads, dads, dads & dads (we seem to get a lot of dads, come on mums!) If you fancy finding out more then please ask any of our poolside hunks.
